How it is calculated
Shares are calculated from the importing country's customs data (UN Comtrade, HS 2709) and divided by its total crude imports (JODI-Oil), so suppliers that are not drawn on the map still count in the total. Belarus and Turkey report no crude imports by origin to UN Comtrade; their figures are estimates.
